Hello

How can I have the detailed age distribution of non-Hispanic African Americans (at all geo levels) using the ACS data.

My understanding is that B01001B are for all blacks regardless of their ethnicity.

The prepared tabulations are only by race (not Hispanic origin) for all races except White. Is using the public use microdata (PUMS) file an option?

I use Race by Hispanic origin (or PL 94 for 2020 which lists all races with combinations and Hispanic) for instance B03002 for ACS 2019

OH wait sorry I took your question literally and from the subject I see you were looking for age distribution! D'oh! Never mind. Yeah, maybe IPUMS, it would definitely work if you pull both race and hispanic variables

Thank you! Tim Yes the age distribution of each race/ethnicity is needed. Blacks had both Hispanic and non-Hispanic when the age distribution is available.
