ACS Data Users Group

Hi all - I'm struggling to access data on land area/square mileage at the census tract level.

Appreciate any guidance towards locating the table containing this basic information.

I got that from UM’s geocorrespondence site and it was translated to square miles which was helpful. It’s in other data like PL94 but I think the units are different mcdc.missouri.edu/.../geocorr.html

The gazetteer files here: https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html contain land and water areas in both square miles and square meters.
