  • 1.  2020 Census P1 table "total population 2020 DEC summary file 1

    Does anyone know when table P1 for the 2020 Decennial census is due out. I need total population for ZCTAs. The ACS table B01001 is showing a lot of zeros. P1 is available for 2010 for the ZCTA geography.

    gives a list of what zcta geographies are available:

    Statistical data for ZCTAs are available from:

    Census 2000
    2010 Census
    2007 - 2011 American Community Survey 5-year estimates and later

    Access data through data.census.gov.

    Hi Dave,

    As far as I know, the first 2020 Census data for ZCTAs are scheduled to be released in May as noted in this table describing planned 2020 Census products:

    The Census Scientific Advisory Committee (CSAC) meetings are also a good resource for updates on Census Bureau products. The next Committee meeting will take place on March 9-10 and the slides should be posted in advanced of that meeting:
