  • 1.  Canadian equivalent to ACS

    Hello everyone,

I apologize if this is the wrong forum to ask this question. I'm somewhat familiar with doing research via ACS, but some of my work requires information pertaining to workers who are Canadian florists citizens, and general flux between the border in the American North-East. Is there any equivalent to ACS in Canada? As far as I could see there isn't much data made available and I was wondering if anybody knew where to look. I've looked into Cancensus but it doesn't provide enough data for what I'm looking for (employment/workforce)

    Thank you for your time.

    Best,

    Guillermo Costa

Wow, lots of data, although the format is more like a firehose. Canada has lots of immigrants and it's interesting to see the mix. I do have a bookmark for the UN census list at; https://unstats.un.org/unsd/demographic-social/census/censusdates/ but I've found many references are incorrect or out of date, including the US, and of course, the US census has a place for top level (International database - https://www.census.gov/data-tools/demo/idb/#/country?COUNTRY_YEAR=2023&COUNTRY_YR_ANIM=2023

Lastly, Wikipedia has many great pages on the topic including this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_and_international_statistical_services but like the other sources is out of date in several areas.
