I am trying to calculate the aggregate median income by sex of 10 counties within the same state. This question highlights how to calculate an aggregate median income in general. The answer in the question uses binned incomes from table B19001 to reconstruct a median income for multiple geographies. However, my understanding is that table B19001 does not break down binned incomes by sex. Is there a way to calculate an aggregate median income by sex of multiple counties without resorting to PUMS?
