Hi,

I am trying to label a character derived from person records, and then add it to household records. For example, I want to mark the household with elderly aged 90 or above. There are 2 types of data, person record and household record. I collapsed person records by ID, serialno, and then merge the new data with household data.

But I found that no all HH data can be matched with the data derived from person record. So, my question is, is it possible that HH completed the HH questionnia but did not complete the questionnaire for person record? the data I am using is 5-year ACS 214-2018.

The housing data contains vacant housing as well as occupied housing. Vacant housing will have no associated person data. Unless you need the vacant housing, just limit your sample to the occupied housing.
