  • 1.  Missing 2014-18 Data

    I have noticed lately that data.census.gov is not offering 5-year data-just one-year for the random tables that I need. For example, I need five-year B18120, a table Ive been examining for years for state and all counties and AFF always had 5-yr offering. Why is 5-yr not available in this "upgrade"? Is this just another bug to report in the AFF replacement? Am I missing something? Even nationally there is no five year offering.

    It looks like B18120 is not available for 5-year estimates (and hasn't been in the past), just for 1-year estimates. Would C18120, which doesn't include disability type, work for you? That's available for 5-year estimates. Alternatively, if you're looking for national or state-level data, the 1-year estimates might work for you.

    No worries. Here's a good resource to find which tables are available 1 or 5-year estimates (either file in the second column): www.census.gov/.../table-shells.2018.html.
