    Does anyone know where I can find information on business formation rate stats? Specifically by county level.

    There are other products in the federal statistical system besides ACS that would be of values here -- County Business Patterns (available from data.census.gov... with all the caveats about how [not] easy it is locate the data there), and the Small Business Administration data.

    Great question.

    You probably already found: Census has a data product called Business Formation Stats www.census.gov/.../index.html
    All the stats you see on that site are state-level (or US nation-level). Would county be possible? Anyone know? Worth reaching out to the Census staff who produce this?

    But it's only by state level. Does anyone know where/if this data is available by county level?
