  • 1.  housing characteristics by age category

    Hello. I seek state-level, housing characteristics data (2015-2019 ACS?) for those 60 years and older. Specifically, I'd like data regarding whether those 60 years and older have electricity in their household and whether they have a vehicle.

    I used the Advanced Search function and simply can't seem to locate such data.

    This table will get you a lot of information on the age 60+ population, but not specifically the data you're after: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table?q=s0102&tid=ACSST1Y2019.S0102

    The vehicles available tables splits for age 65+ so you'll have to live with that or custom run the data from PUMS: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table?q=vehicle%20age&tid=ACSDT1Y2019.B25045

    I don't see any prepared table where it splits electricity by age (the variable on this is actually home heating source which is a little different). Again the resort on this would be to custom calculate from PUMS.
