    Hi Everyone -

There's a group of us in California that have begun meeting to address threats to federal data – what does the loss/potential loss mean to communities in California, what can we do, how can we assist those in CA who need access to local data available from the federal gov't. Those are the types of questions we want to work on.

When our group last met, someone mentioned that it would be good to talk with other states who are taking a state-level view on threats to federal data. We no doubt can learn from what other states are doing. Plus, there's probably power in a bigger community of local users.

So if you're in a state that has formed a similar group, I'm definitely interested in connecting. You can contact me here or via email (andy@hillcrestadvisory.com). And if you're in California and want to join our efforts, by all means reach out to me, too.

    Thanks!
