    ACS Resource Spotlight: CensusRoadmap.org

If you're digging into the ACS-whether for research, advocacy, or data strategy-the CensusRoadmap.org ACS page is a great complement to Census Bureau sources.

It includes things many users don't think to bookmark:

    • question-by-question Almanac explaining why each ACS question exists and how the data are used-useful for methodological and explanatory work.
    • A social media and outreach toolkit you can repurpose for partners or community audiences.
    • Links to recorded webinars and resources on ACS data use, communication, and engagement.

Check it out:  it's a nice bridge between technical ACS knowledge and broader communication/advocacy work:

Not entirely related, but -- do we know what is happening with https://www.socialexplorer.com after Andy Beveridge's passing? It will probably continue running on autopilot if it is his project, but I hope there is a team that continues with that service.

Yes, as far as I know Social Explorer is continuing to operate as usual under the leadership of Dickson Musslewhite, who has been chief executive there for a few years.
