In addition to their Survey Data Finder, SHADAC staff published two new blogs for those interested in federal health data:
A Brief Overview of Several Federal Health-Related Surveys: As a complement to their Survey Data Finder, this blog provides very brief, one- or two-paragraph summaries of more than a dozen federal surveys to help users of the tool better understand the main focus and specifics that may make them particularly well-suited to certain uses in comparison to other surveys.
The Landscape of Major Federal Health Survey Data Releases in 2025: This blog aims to serve as a consolidated guide to many of the major federal health-related surveys that were expected to publish single-year data estimates over the course of this year (2025) and cataloguing the current status of those releases-whether they were published, either on-time or with a delay; not yet published; or if the status of the data remains uncertain.
