The meeting is also an opportunity for outside experts, stakeholders, and members of the public to share their perspectives on census issues. Comments may address any census-related issue, not just the topics included on the committee's agenda.

Although Census Bureau staff will not participate in the meeting, all public comments will be transmitted to the Bureau alongside I-CSAC's recommendations. Comments will also be posted on the I-CSAC website and included in the meeting record.

Submissions received before noon ET on Sept 16 and not exceeding two minutes will be read aloud during the meeting.

The deadline to submit public comments to be read aloud during the I-CSAC Fall 2026 meeting is this Wednesday, September 16 at noon ET. Submissions received before noon ET Wednesday and not exceeding two minute will be read aloud during the meeting.

Comments may address any census-related issue, not just the topics on the committee's agenda. All comments will be posted on the I-CSAC website and submitted to the Census Bureau alongside the committee's recommendations.
