Federal Data Users

Hello everyone. I'm Henry Dubroff, owner of Pacific Coast Business Times in Santa Barbara, CA and Chair of the First Amendment Committee for SABEW, the Association for Business Journalists. I've been tracking the developments at the statistical agencies with rising alarm and we post regularly to our members. I wonder if anyone saw or had an opinion about Fed Chair Powell's comments at yesterday's press conference. He went on at some length about the need for accurate, timely economic data for the Fed, business and consumers. He noted some of the problems with the CPI survey. It seems like the Fed is concerned about this issue.
