Want to stay informed about changes to surveys and data collections? Here's how to get automatic email alerts whenever a new Federal Register Notice is posted-we'll use the American Community Survey as an example:

Step-by-Step:

• Go to FederalRegister.gov and search for "American Community Survey."
• Click "Subscribe" at the top of the search results page.
• Choose your preferences:
  • Select how often you want emails (daily digest or real-time).
  • Decide if you want all document types or just notices.
• Enter your email and confirm your subscription.

That's it! You'll now receive notifications whenever the Census Bureau or other agencies post Federal Register notices about the ACS-whether it's methodology changes, data collection updates, or public comment periods.
