    Most of our community focuses on domestic federal data, but the same forces threatening U.S. statistical programs are playing out globally. The termination of USAID funding for the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program put at risk 40+ years of population and health data collection across 90+ countries-the backbone of global health policymaking.
