Federal Data Users

Hi,

The couple of recent posts here about ACS data reminded me to ask if anyone has a sense of how the release of new ACS 5-year estimates (scheduled for next month) might be impacted by the federal government shutdown.  I'm assuming that work on this and other census-related data projects has temporarily ceased due to the shutdown, but maybe I'm wrong?

I would anticipate that the state level population estimate totals for 2024 will not be released in December as they typically are, because the PEP team isn't working right now. But we'll see.
