At the last APDU conference I shared an app I built to help people explore changes in U.S. immigration enforcement trends: https://immigration-enforcement.streamlit.app/. Several people mentioned that they appreciated how the app made the data easier to understand and interact with. The app was build in Python using the Streamlit library.
Next Tuesday I'm teaching a live workshop with O'Reilly on how to build simple, interactive data apps like this using Streamlit. It's essentially free to attend because of their 10‑day trial (no credit card required). I thought it might be useful to people here who work with public data and need lightweight ways to make it more accessible.
Link to the workshop.
If anyone wants to extend the trial beyond 10 days, they can use code ARILAM26 to extend it to 30.
